Enabling Ask HelixGPT


After BMC HelixGPT is enabled for your organization, as a case agent, you can enable Ask HelixGPT for your line of business. When enabled, Ask HelixGPT is available on the case details page. You can perform the following actions in Ask HelixGPT:

  • Ask questions to get information about the case.
  • Receive summarized answers from relevant knowledge articles and cases.
  • Share the information received in Ask HelixGPT with requesters through email.
  • Rate the answer by providing feedback.
  • Open the source knowledge articles from Ask HelixGPT for more information.


Before you begin

If BMC HelixGPT is not enabled for your organization, contact your administrator to enable it. You can enable BMC HelixGPT features for your line of business only after BMC HelixGPT is enabled for your organization.


To enable Ask HelixGPT

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Business Workflows, and click Settings SettingsIcon.jpg.
  2. Select Line of Business > Manage Line of Business.
  3. On the HelixGPT tab, click Ask HelixGPT.
  4. Make sure that Configuration value is selected 2102_ToggleIcon.jpg.
  5. To view the case summary when Ask HelixGPT is opened, enable the Case Insights 2102_RadioButtonToggle.jpgoption.
  6. Click Save.


Results

After you enable Ask HelixGPT, it is displayed as a tab on the case details page. Case agents can view the case summary, share the information with requesters, and rate the responses.
