Enabling search on dynamic data, attachments, and social activities for cases and tasks from Global Search
To enable search for cases
- Log in to BMC Helix Business Workflows as an administrator.
- Select Settings > Case Management > Search Configuration.
- To enable search for entities, click the name of the configuration.
- On the Edit Search Configuration page, change the Value to Active.
- Click Save.
To enable search for tasks
- Log in to BMC Helix Business Workflows as an administrator.
- Select Settings > Task Management > Search Configuration.
- To enable search for entities, click the name of the configuration.
- On the Edit Search Configuration page, change the Value to Active.
- Click Save.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
