Modifying the Log4j configurations to change the log levels
The Log4j configuration is applied in the following ways:
- If the out-of-the-box values are missing, the settings from the physical Log4j file are applied.
- If the out-of-the-box values are enabled, the values override the physical Log4j file settings.
- If an overlay exists, the overlay values override the out-of-the-box values.
To modify the Log4j configuration out-of-the-box settings
- From the IT Home page, select Virtual Agent > Virtual Chat Administration Console.
- Select Self Service Portal > Configuration.
- From the list of entries, select Logging configuration.
The following image displays the Logging configuration entry with the default values: - Modify the values as required.
- Click Save.
- Click Refresh servlets to apply the changes.
