IS RD Agent

The IS RD Agent supports Application business analysts to create and refine regular record definitions in BMC Helix Innovation Suite by using natural language prompts. It interprets user intent, generates structured record definitions with appropriate fields and data types, and supports conversational refinement to reduce manual configuration. By simplifying record definition creation, the agent accelerates application development, minimizes configuration errors, and reduces the technical effort.

IS RD Agent capabilities

IS RD Agent provides the following capabilities:

Create record definitions by using natural language prompts
Generate fields with appropriate data types and default settings
Interpret and refine user input in real time

Scenario

Scenario: Creating a record definition for customer feedback
Ajay, an application business analyst at Apex Global, wants to collect structured customer feedback for a new product launch. Instead of manually defining the record structure, Ajay uses the IS RD Agent in BMC Helix Innovation Suite. Ajay opens the conversational interface and enters the following prompt:

Create a record definition for customer feedback with fields for customer name, email, rating, comments, and submission date.

The IS RD Agent interprets the prompt and generates a structured record definition that includes the specified fields with appropriate data types and default configurations. Ajay reviews the structure and requests a change by entering the following prompt:

Change the field name comments to feedback_comments.

The IS RD agent updates the structure accordingly. After verifying the details, Ajay confirms the creation of the record definition. The IS RD Agent finalizes the record definition and makes it available in the application.
