Enabling surveys


As an administrator, you can enable customer satisfaction surveys for these completed services:

  • IT requests in BMC Helix ITSM
  •  Catalog services in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Catalog.

As an external administrator, you can enable satisfaction surveys for external users.

Important

 External user satisfaction surveys are supported only for Catalog-native requests.


To enable surveys for services

  1. In the Admin console, click the Service Requests tab.
  2. Select Surveys.
  3. Turn on the Enabled toggle key.
  4. Click Save.
    When you have enabled surveys, you must configure the types of service requests for which you would like surveys to be sent.

Important

  • As an external administrator, follow the preceding steps to enable satisfaction surveys for external users. After enabling surveys, external users receive surveys for their completed requests according to the survey delivery rules set by catalog administrators for that catalog service.
  • External administrators can configure the default survey notifications for newly registered external users. For more information, see Configuring-status-updates-and-notifications.
