How assigned To-dos are displayed
After a manager or team leader assigns a To-do, you can view the To-dos in a card view and a list view. External users (self-registered users) can also view To-dos in the same manner.
The active To-dos that are in progress are displayed in the Active events section, while completed To-dos are displayed in the Past events section.
(Version 23.3.04 and later) You can use BMC HelixGPT to find your To-dos and access them from the links provided with the answers. For example, to view your ongoing assignments, simply type Show my current To-dos or a similar query. Similarly, to see assignments you've completed, say Show my completed To-dos. Before you begin
Ensure that the BMC Helix Digital Workplace administrator and Catalog administrator have configured To-dos, as described in Enabling-end-users-to-work-on-To-dos.
To work on To-dos
- Log in to BMC Helix Digital Workplace.
Click Details for the assigned To-do, as shown in the following images:
- On the Details page, click Get started, as shown in the following image:
- Fill out all the questions in the questionnaire.
- Perform one of the following actions:
- If you have answered all the mandatory questions in the questionnaire, click Submit and complete.
- If you wish to revisit the questionnaire or complete it at a later time, click Save and close.
The following image is an example of a questionnaire for To-dos:
- (Optional) If you clicked Save and close, click Continue to complete the questionnaire, as shown in the following image:
- After completing all the mandatory questions in the questionnaire, click Submit and complete.
