Installing

After you finish the planning activities, you can start to install BMC Digital Workplace in your environment.



Best practices

The installation process consists of various stages as described in the following table:

Make sure that you gather all the required data for a successful installation, such as installer parameters, installation files, database, access permissions, deployment package, and UI installer.

Install the application on a single server, in a cluster, or silently by using the data gathered in stage 1. Also, resolve any issues during the installation and verify if the installation is successful.

After successful installation, configure the authentication details, ensure data security, provide server ports, enable transfer of data and full text search.

Uninstall the BMC Digital Workplace system files from your environment.
