Obtaining Remedy license keys

This topic describes how to obtain a product license key that you can apply after you install BMC Digital Workplace Catalog. You must obtain a product license key to activate a license for BMC Digital Workplace Catalog that is separate from the other BMC Digital Workplace Advanced licenses referred to in License-entitlements.

Before you begin

After you have registered an account on BMC Support Central, use the self-service Remedy Action Request System (AR System) generator to request a BMC Digital Workplace Catalog server license key.

License requirements

Your contract entitles you to the following license levels, which are required to run BMC Digital Workplace Catalog.

License key types

You can request either a Temporary or a Permanent product license key depending on the information you provide when you request the license key. The following table shows the different information required to request a specific license key type.
