All storage ETLs are now fully supported by BMC Helix Capacity Optimization 20.02.

Storage All-in-One ETL for BMC Helix Capacity Optimization

The version 1.3.00 adds support for the following new platforms: 

  • Ceph Storage
  • Dell EMC XtremIO
  • Pure Storage

Hitachi Device Manager ETL for BMC Helix Capacity Optimization

The ETL has been improved to add: 

  • Support for Physical Disks metrics (BYDISK_SIZE, BYDISK_RPM, and BYDISK_TYPE)1
  • Support of capacity metrics by Tier1
  • ST_POOL_TIER_ID and ST_POOL_TIER_NAME metrics to Dynamic Provisioning Storage Pools1

In NetApp Data ONTAP ETL for BMC Helix Capacity Optimization

  • When collecting in "NetApp-specific" mode, volumes and shares are not listed in Workspace

In Dell EMC Unity CIM Server ETL for BMC Helix Capacity Optimization

  • Shares (NAS) are not listed in Workspace

In Storage All-in-One ETL for BMC Helix Capacity Optimization

  • The ETL fails to connect to Ceph when several ETL tasks are configured to monitor different Ceph environments using the same ETL engine.
