License Management

BMC FootPrints Service Core is a licensed product. Licensing issues are handled by the System Administrator. The following topics are covered in the section:

• Get and Install a New License-If you need new licenses or if you have problems with the licensing process, contact BMC and provide BMC with the license code, the number of users you want to license, and whether you want a permanent or evaluation license.
• Reset-License-Manager—This function clears the internal list that BMC FootPrints Service Core keeps of logged in users. All agents are immediately logged out. Any data that an agent is in the middle of entering is lost.
• Current License Use—Provide information about license usage
• Concurrent License Manager—Provide information about and manage concurrent licenses.
