BMC AMI Storage FATSCOPY 6.2

 

This space contains information about the 6.2 release of the BMC AMI Storage FATSCOPY product, formerly known as BMC Compuware FATSCOPY.

BMC AMI Storage FATSCOPY is a z/OS tape copy, consolidation, migration and conversion solution that automates the process of copying and re-cataloging tape-based data sets from one tape media to another including Virtual Tape, Vtape, and VTS systems. BMC AMI Storage FATSCOPY supports copying individual files or the entire contents of one or more tape volumes. It automatically stacks and consolidates files onto output tapes and recatalogs the moved files to the new tapes. BMC AMI Storage FATSCOPY supports "tape-based" and "tape-less" systems including IBM TS7700, Oracle VTS, EMC DLm, Bus-Tech MDL, Fujitsu Centricstor, and Hitachi VTF.
