Reviewing the product configuration
Review and modify the product configuration after installation:
Element | Configuration |

Samples library | Copy the samples library, hlq.RSMSAMP, to your target z/OS system. The library contains sample configuration files that you copy to provide a useful starting point for building your own installation-specific configuration. |
RSSPARM member | Copy the RSSPARM member from the sample library into your RSMPARM library. To modify the member to start the product, see Configuring after installation. |
Licensing details | (RSS SPE2107) Ensure that you have a valid BMC license. For information, see the last steps in Reviewing the startup JCL procedure. (Pre-SPE2107) Ensure that you have valid and current licensing details. For information, see the "License-related parameters" section in the Global configuration parameters topic. |
Application layer protocol | Make sure that you specify the correct details for the HTTP or HTTPS parameters. If the specified port is in use or blocked, the product cannot start its listener task. |
