Reviewing the product configuration
Review and modify the product configuration after installation:

Samples library
Copy the samples library, hlq.RSMSAMP, to your target z/OS system. The library contains sample configuration files that you copy to provide a useful starting point for building your own installation-specific configuration.
RSSPARM member
Copy the RSSPARM member from the sample library into your RSMPARM library. To modify the member to start the product, see Configuring after installation.
(Pre-SPE2107) Ensure that you have valid and current licensing details. For information, see the "License-related parameters" section in the Global configuration parameters topic.
Application layer protocol
Make sure that you specify the correct details for the HTTP or HTTPS parameters. If the specified port is in use or blocked, the product cannot start its listener task.

The RSMPARM library is overwritten after you upgrade the product. Rename the hlq.RSMPARM library or create a backup of the file before you upgrade your system.
