The data might contain a combination of binary and textual data, and is sorted in the order returned by the LDAP server (typically the order in which the data enter). Your name can be changed via the Apply button. The operator can return to the User Info screen by clicking on the Continue button. The screen is depicted as follows.

Warning

Note

  • It is quite possible that a BMC Defender monitored user is not in the LDIF file. Such as, if the user register in some organizational unit other than those configured in the System > Tools > Auto-Update > LDAP screen, the user LDAP data are not collected and clicking on the View User Info hyperlink is returning to an error.
  • The LDAP data is also dependent on the particular schema of the organization, so certain LDAP attributes might not exist on some platforms.
