Uninstalling the TIBCO EMS monitoring extension

This section describes how to uninstall the TIBCO Rendezvous monitoring extension and includes:

If you are reinstalling or upgrading and want to keep your existing configuration settings, create a backup copy of your existing eaa.xml file. If necessary, see your operating system's documentation.

To uninstall the TIBCO EMS monitoring extension from Windows platforms

  1. Stop the monitoring on the monitoring extension you want to delete.
  2. Open a command prompt.
    1. Enter qptibems --stop
    2. Enter qptibems --remove

To uninstall the TIBCO EMS monitoring extension from UNIX platforms

  1. Stop the monitoring on the monitoring extension you want to delete.
  2. Open a command prompt.
    1. Enter qptibems.sh --stop
    2. Enter rm *
