Exporting and importing your preferences
You should use the --export option to backup the agent and extension preferences regularly. The --import option can be used to restore the preferences after a machine failure or re-installation.
Export agent preferences to an XML file.
To export agent preferences to an XML file use the command:
agentpref --export filename
where:
filename is the name of a file where the preferences are put in XML format.
Import agent preferences from an XML file.
To import agent preferences from an XML file use the command:
agentpref --import filename
where:
filename is the name of a file in XML format that contains the preferences to read.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
