The following table describes how you can control the data collectors.

Task

Procedure

Start or stop all of the BMC AMI Ops Monitor for USS data collectors at once.

Specify the DC=START or DC=STOP parameter in the JCL that is used to initialize the PAS.

If the PAS is already active, issue one of the following MVS MODIFY commands against the PAS:

  • F PASName,DC=START
  • F PASName,DC=STOP

Replace PASName with the name of the PAS.

Start or stop individual BMC AMI Ops Monitor for USS data collectors.
