Using views


BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IPviews display information that helps you monitor and manage your network by summarizing application performance data., but you cannot modify it.

From the EZIP Menu, you can access information about the BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IP views, including the following information:

  • Application availability
  • Traffic
  • Connections
  • Configuration
  • Packet tracing
  • Routers

You can use drill-down functions in several views to view more detailed information about an item. You can drill down in any view where a field name is highlighted. Some highlighted field names are hyperlinks to other applications or resources.

Many views include sample drill‑down instructions (such as traceroute information), hyperlinks (such as IP resource links), sample alarms, and threshold conditions. You can use color or highlighting to add visual indicators that show when resources are reaching a critical state.
