Configuring the availability ping
With the availability ping, you can automatically ping an IP network device to determine its availability and provide device response times.
To configure the availability ping
From the EZIP menu, select Product Administration (EZADMIN) in the Utilities section, and press Enter.
From the EZADMIN menu, select the MVIP Config Settings (MVIPCNFD), and press Enter.
In the Data Collection section, specify ON or OFF in the Availability Ping field to enable or disable this utility.
