Configuring IP pacing

In BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IP, you can delay (or 'pace') outbound data from any TCP/IP application to provide more processing time to business-critical applications. You can also display information about applications that have been paced.

Customizing after installation

To configure IP pacing

  1. From the Utilities section of the EZIP menu, select Product Administration (EZADMIN) and press Enter.
  2. From the EZADMIN menu, select MVIP Config Settings (MVIPCNFD) and press Enter.
  3. In the IP Pacing field of the Data Collection section, type ON or OFF to enable or disable this utility.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
