CSV report overview
CSV reports contain field values of TAR, PAR or LAR records. You can determine which records are included in the report by customizing the JCL and specifying the control cards for inclusion or exclusion.
The CSV format of the report enables you to:
Analyze selected field data on records by using the tools available in the spreadsheet
Download and explore the report with any compatible CSV-format product
Using the spreadsheet tools, customize the report to include data relevant to your analysis
You can receive the report by email only if the report's maximum record length is less than 1024 bytes. You can export the data for longer reports using FTP but must append the report file name with the .csv extension.
