BMC AMI Pool Advisor for Db2
is a Db2 performance analysis and troubleshooting tool.
Pool Advisor collects and analyzes data from Db2 buffer pools, group buffer pools, the EDM pool, sort pool, and RID pool and makes recommendations for storage resource allocations, object configurations, and various Db2 parameter settings. In some cases Pool Advisor can automatically manage resources in real time to optimize performance across workload fluctuations.
A hyperlink on the EZDB2 menu provides access to advice on optimization of Db2 storage resources, including all the major pools.
