Overview of the JCLLIB and CTLLIB

The following libraries are available in the JCL Builder:

  • User JCL Library (JCLLIB)—contains JCL sets that you can use to create reports. The JCL sets in this library can contain control statement sets in-line or point to control statement sets residing in control statement set libraries.
  • User Control Statement Library (CTLLIB)—contains user control statement sets that you can use to create Analyzer reports. This library is optional.
  • Model JCL Library (model JCLLIB)—contains JCL sets for use as models for new user JCL sets.
  • Model Control Statement Library (model CTLLIB)—contains Control Statement sets for use as models for new user Control Statement sets or for inclusion in new JCL sets.

When you create a new user JCL or control statement set, you may include model JCL and control statement sets from model libraries.
