Error handling for CTGHSTRY

Before records are displayed in the CTGHIST view, selection criteria is validated.

If an error is found, a message box is displayed that contains an error message. The message identifies the field in error and describes what is wrong with the data.

BBKTB610E Program Mask 1 in error. Name 123 is invalid. Name does not start
with alphabetic, national or pattern character. The data is supposed to be
a name and it does not start with an alphabetic or national character. In  
this case a pattern character, *?, is also allowed to start the name..

 If additional errors are found, they are flagged for correction. When all errors are corrected, the CTGHIST view displays the matching records (if any).


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
