Using VSAM history files

You can place BMC AMI Ops Monitor for CICS task performance detail history data (CMRDETL T6E records) and BMC AMI OpsM for CICS CTG task performance data (CTGDETL) into two or more separate VSAM data sets. This allows you to have access to the data from both online views and batch reporting. It also allows you to archive the data to use in reporting facilities in the future. In this section, all references to CMRDETL also applies to CTGDETL data sets.
