Understanding Alternate Access

Aside from any normal product maintenance, Alternate Access might require library updates that are associated with ISPF maintenance.

Alternate Accessuses the ISPF libraries to establish an ISPF environment for each session at TAS initialization. The ISPF library allocations are contained in hlq.UBBSAMP, in a REXX EXEC called BBVINIT.

Warning

Important

If maintenance is applied to ISPF that changes the library names, you must change the library names in BBVINIT as well.
