Security for your products

The type of security that you implement depends on what BMC AMI Ops products you have installed at your site:

  • Products that operate only in windows mode (such as BMC AMI Ops Monitor for z/OS) use only windows-mode security.
  • Products that operate in both full-screen and windows mode (such as BMC AMI Ops Monitor for Db2) use both types of security.

The following table identifies the type of security that is used by each BMC AMI Ops product based on its product interface.
