Managing product-specific features

Product-specific features are managed through each product. The BMC AMI Ops Selection Menu, however, provides easy access to the administration features of each product by using the PLEXADM view. See the following sections:

• • To access the PLEXADM view in MainView Explorer
  • To access a product-specific Administration menu (EZADMIN) in MainView Explorer
  • To access the PLEXADM view in Windows mode
  • To access a product-specific Administration menu (EZADMIN) in Windows mode

To access the PLEXADM view in MainView Explorer

1. In the context tree in the navigation frame, set a context.
2. In the product tree, expand a product.
3. Expand the ADMIN node.
4. Select (double-click) the PLEXADM view.
   
   

To access a product-specific Administration menu (EZADMIN) in MainView Explorer

1. Access the PLEXADM view.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Select (double-click) the EZADMIN view.
   • Select (double-click) the PLEXADM view and select (double-click) a product.
      

   

To access the PLEXADM view in Windows mode

On the BMC AMI Ops Selection Menu, select option 1.

To access a product-specific Administration menu (EZADMIN) in Windows mode

1. Access the PLEXADM view.
2. Select a target by using the S line command from the list.
