Install History

As an administrator, you can install patches and add-ons for the BMC AMI Ops Console Management software. We strongly recommend that you back up the current configuration before installing the software. For more information, see Saved Configurations.

To upgrade from a specially formatted BMC AMI Ops Console Management upgrade file on your computer, perhaps obtained from BMC Software via FTP.

The following table displays the UI features available on the Install History page:

UI feature

Description

Install Add On

Click to select the install file, which is transferred to the BMC AMI Ops Console Management server and starts the upgrade process.

You must verify the file's version and metadata.

Export to CSV

Click to download the CSV file which contains all the available information in Install History.

Action

Click to view and change the order of the type of action. The following types of actions are available:

  • Install
  • Uninstall
  • Patch

User

Displays the name of the user who performed the action.

Date

Displays the date when the action was performed.

Component

Displays the component which was installed, uninstalled, or patched.

Version

Displays the version of the component.

The Install History page also displays the BMC AMI Ops Console Managementserver's installation and upgrade history.

Important

When you upgrade, the previous versions are removed before the new version is added.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
