Upgrading
You can upgrade CCS to obtain the latest CCS components. With these patches, you can update CCS without requiring a complete installation.
- Download the EMS-CCS-<CCS Version> -1.noarch.bin file from the patches page on EPD.
- Copy the file to your server.
- On your server, you must be logged in as root and run the following commands (replace <CCS Version> with the actual version and architecture with x86_64 or s390x as appropriate):
- rpm -e --nodeps EMS-CCS
- chmod a+x EMS-CCS-<CCS Version>-1nn.<architecture>.bin
- ./EMS-CCS-<CCS Version>-1nn.<architecture>.bin
For example, the following upgrades CCS to version 8.0.5 for the Intel platform:
# rpm -e --nodeps EMS-CCS
# chmod a+x EMS-CCS-8.0.5-142.x86_64.bin
# ./EMS-CCS-8.0.5-141.x86_64.bin
For zLinux architecture:
# rpm -e --nodeps EMS-CCS
# chmod a+x EMS-CCS-8.0.5-142.s390x.bin
# ./EMS-CCS-8.0.5-141.s390x.bin
- Once the upgrades are complete, reboot the server to ensure all system processes restart properly.
