Logs

You can use the Logs page to download system snapshot, and view and manage log files created by the following type of servers:

  • Console Consolidation Server
  • Console Automation Server
  • Authentication Server
  • Tomcat Server
  • License Server
  • Service Manager

The list of logs might vary according to the types of logs you have enabled on the Logging tab of the server configuration pages. Console session log files (for example ioctelnet.log) that are used to troubleshoot problems with a specific console are also displayed here.

You can expand each section to view the different log files. Expand a section and click the options button.jpgbutton beside each log file under the Actions row. The following options are displayed:

  • View: Brings up the current contents of the selected log file.
  • Download: Saves the selected log to your computer.
  • Delete: Removes the selected log file. This option is automatically disabled for a running server file.

Click Clear All in each section to remove all log information of that section. This function is enabled only if all files are allowed to be deleted.

Warning

Important

Clear All button is not available for Tomcat Server and Service Manager logs.
