A Smart Dashboard is a set of workflows and views into your mainframe data. You can create more than one dashboard and attach existing workflows to them.

Warning

Important

  • Only a content creator or product administrator can create and publish a dashboard.
  • Only an owner can delete a dashboard.
  • You can open a dashboard and modify views in a workflow. The changes do not affect other users or the original workflow.
  • Changes to a workflow must be made by the owner or a collaborator in the Workflow Builder. Any changes to the alert rules are reflected after the next run of the nightly process.

You can use the Smart Dashboards to see at a glance overviews of the status of the most important IT environments. You can include up to eight workflows in the dashboard covering the most important areas and aspects of your environment.
The dashboard displays, at a glance, the root view of the attached workflows and indicates, with status icons, if there were any alerts during the requested period.

To save report data as CSV

When you enable this option, the Nightly Process saves the report view data for all workflows attached to the dashboard as CSV files. You can access the saved CSV data on the Application Server.

Warning

Important

  • The CSV output includes data only for workflows that are attached to the dashboard at the time of the Nightly Process run.
  • The option to save report data as CSV is available only to the dashboard owner.
