Software requirements

The following table shows the required and the optional software for installing BMC AMI Capacity Management products. For example, R in the box corresponding to the UIE product and ISPF V. 2.3 indicates that UIE requires ISPF 2.3.0 or later.

  • ISPF is required only if you want to run UIE by using the interactive, full-screen interface.
  • The LE library is also required by the UNLOAD job that is part of the z/OS Online Installation Facility.
  • The capture components of UIE are compatible with SMF/RMF release 3.3 and later. The Goal Mode option is also supported.
