Day-one support is now available for version 2.5 of the IBM z/OS system.

This support provides you with the artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent automation (IA) to enable:

  • Increased product uptime
  • Strengthened security
  • Faster development and delivery of high-quality software to help you become an Autonomous Digital Enterprise (ADE)

All current releases of BMC Compuware products now support running on version 2.5 of the IBM z/OS system. In some cases, you might need to apply maintenance. 

To obtain maintenance, use one of the following methods:

  • (Recommended) Use the IBM SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER command. For more information about using RECEIVE ORDER for BMC products, see Using SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER.

  • Use the BMC Compuware maintenance packaging engine  to download the BMC Compuware service pack (cumulative maintenance). The Electronic Product Distribution - BMC Mainframe application provides the Compuware-Products  tab where you can choose the cumulative maintenance for your products.

The following table lists the BMC Compuware products that require PTFs to get the day-one support. The rest of the BMC Compuware products have day-one support on version 2.5 of the IBM z/OS system.
