Create Search for Source Value Access Path Definition


Search for source value access path defines the translate table fields that will be searched for this access path.

To create a Search for Source Value Access Path definition:

  1. From the Resource Administration stack bar on the Data Privacy Menu, select Manage Translate Tables. The Manage Translate Tables view appears.
  2. Select the desired translate table. Click the Access Paths' Add button and select Search. The Search Access Path dialog box appears.
  3. Enter a Path Name or accept the default path name.
  4. Specify whether to always use Key access for this path.

    Select key access only when the translate table is keyed and every access is to read the translate table by key. When this option is selected, the translate table will not be pre-loaded; the translate table will be read for each input value.

  5. Select the Translate Table Fields you want to use.
  6. Click OK. Your access path now appears in the Access Path list.
