General Notes
The Server Refresh function is the option that will probably be most commonly used by ISPW Administrators. Other options may be used if requested by ISPW Technical Support staff.
See ISPW-Debug-and-Trace-Facilities for further details on trace commands.
Command Descriptions
The following table describes each command:
Command Descriptions
Command Name | Description |
|---|---|
P | Stops the server. |
R | Refreshes the Reference Data in the ISPW server cache. |
S | Starts the server. |
T | Turns on ALL Server tracing. |
X | Stops ALL Server tracing. |
M | Modify the current Trace settings by adding a Trace command. |
Server Refresh
This function is used to refresh the Server Cache memory. The ISPW Server loads all Reference Data into memory when it is started to ensure good performance. When Reference Data is changed, a Server Refresh ensures that the latest versions are loaded into memory.
