GO

The GO command switches your session into Browse (from Edit) or Edit (from Browse) while retaining your current record and cursor position. However, when using the GO command in a segmented record while positioned in a segment, the record will be re-positioned to the BASE. The GO command is valid in all modes of Browse and Edit.

Warning

Important

When browsing a VSAM LDS with Selection Criteria, the GO command is not available as Selection Criteria is not supported for VSAM LDS in Edit.

BROWSE

Switch from File-AID Edit to File-AID Browse.

EDIT

Switch from File-AID Browse to File-AID Edit.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
