Use this screen to request File-AID for IMS to print the contents of the Audit Trail files that File-AID/Data Solutions created for each object being disguised. The audit trail print provides before and after images of the disguised record. An audit trail for disguised objects will only be created when your File-AID/Data Solutions installation enforces auditing or your disguise extract request called for an audit trail.

Audit trail dataset

Specify the file name of the Disguise Audit Trail dataset you want printed. A separate audit trail dataset is created for each disguised object of the extract. The Disguise Summary Report created for the disguise extract lists the audit trail dataset for each disguised object. The naming convention for each Audit Trail dataset is prefix.RDXA.Dnnn.Dyymmdd.ThhmmssMsss.

Print format

Specify whether the Disguise Audit Trail is to be printed in character or hexadecimal mode. Formatted printing is not supported.

H

Hexadecimal. The disguise audit trail prints in hexadecimal mode. The hexadecimal format will print three lines for each data line; a character line, a zone line and a digit line.

C

Character. The disguise audit trail prints in character mode. The character format will print a single line for each data line.

Both reports format 100 positions of the record per print line. The after images for each 100 positions only print when the data in those positions has changed. A change flag line identifies the changed data positions.

Records to print

You can limit the number of audit records printed. This limit count is a record count; the before and after images are considered two records.

nnn

Maximum number of records to print.

ALL

All records.

Audit trail disposition

Enter one of the following:

PK

Print and Keep the audit trail dataset.

PD

Print and Delete the audit trail dataset.

Sysout class

Enter the sysout class for the Audit Trail Report.

Primary Commands

The following File-AID for IMS primary commands are valid on this screen:

JCL

Pressing Enter submits this Audit Trail Print request without displaying the JCL. Before submitting the JCL, make sure you have specified the desired print options as well as the audit trail file.
