Planning

This section provides information related to planning an installation or update to ECC. Steps involved are:

  1. Order ECC and its companion products, including the latest maintenance, through BMC AMI product Ordering web page or by calling BMC License Management at 800-538-7822. Before ordering, you should understand the system requirements and prerequisites. See System-requirements.
  2. Install ECC per the instructions provided in the order confirmation email. See Installing-ECC.
  3. Follow the instructions in this space to configure and deploy ECC. See Preparing-for-configuration before beginning any configuration steps. Also, for configuration information for an upgrade, see Upgrading.
