Lifecycle view


The life cycle flowchart illustrates the progression or regression of tasks or components through their various stages.

To view the lifecycle of components

  1. In the REPOSITORY view, right-click on single or multiple components and select View LifecycleThe lifecycle flowchart appears. If the selected components belong to different applications or sub-applications, multiple tabs open for each unique path. For example, if you open components that belong to TESTSTREAM-TESTAPP-TESTSUBAPP and TESTSTREAM2-TESTAPP2-TESTSUBAPP2, then two tabs will open for the selected components.
    • Use the Fit to screen zoom slider to zoom the flowchart.
    • In the View option, select or clear the Show Zoom Slider check box to show or hide the Fit to screen zoom slider.
    • Click Refresh to refresh the lifecycle view to view the latest information on the components.

To view the lifecycle of tasks

  1. In the ASSIGNMENTS view, right-click on single or multiple tasks and select View Lifecycle. The lifecycle flowchart appears. If the selected tasks belong to different applications or sub-applications, multiple tabs open for each unique path. For example, if you open tasks that belong to TESTSTREAM-TESTAPP-TESTSUBAPP and TESTSTREAM2-TESTAPP2-TESTSUBAPP2, then two tabs will open for the selected tasks.
    • Use the Fit to screen zoom slider to zoom the flowchart.
    • In the View option, select or clear the Show Zoom Slider check box to show or hide the Fit to screen zoom slider.
    • Click Refresh to refresh the lifecycle view to view the latest information on the components and tasks.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
