To add task to assignment with Checkout

  1. In the ASSIGNMENTS view, right-click the task that you want to check out and click Add to Assignment with Checkout.
The Add to Assignment with Checkout  <task name>  page is displayed.

  3. From the Path drop-down, select the path.
  4. From the Action Code drop-down, select one of the following action codes.
    • Normal- The task was created with no other actions
    • Compile only - The component was added for compile only, without going through the rest of the change cycle process
    • Delete Prod Source - Deletes the production-level source and executables from the production environment. This option is available when the selected base version is PROD.
    • Added from History - Indicates that a historical version (for example, -1 or -2) of a component is requested for checkout

  6. In the Release field, click Find to search for the release where you want to check out the task.
  7. Click Add with Checkout. The task is added to the assignment and checked out.
