Suppressing duplicate dumps

The Abend-AID Viewer does not provide a facility to suppress duplicate SVC dumps. Instead, We recommend that you use the MVS Dump Analysis and Elimination (DAE) facility to suppress or eliminate duplicate SVC dumps.

However, Abend-AID does provide a facility to suppress duplicate batch dumps in the Abend-AID Viewer. See Modify Batch Dump Capture Profiles for information about the global options that control duplicate batch dump suppression, and Task 3: Control Abend-AID processing for information about the DD statements that override the global options for duplicate batch dump suppression.
