Restrictions for HALDB changes1

The following restrictions apply to HALDB changes during reorganization:

  • You cannot change the partition selection exit program if you use CRF.
  • You cannot specify a subset of partitions with the PART keyword if:
    • The output database has a partition selection exit
    • You use the OLDDBD or NEWDBD keyword to indicate that you have changed the database definition (DBD)

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
