News-Member Select Panel
The News-Member Select Panel displays after selecting option 5 (NEWS-MEMBER) from the Maintenance Menu.
From this panel you can maintain News Members, which are LOCAL COPY PLUS PDX Data Set text members, and can be browsed from IMS, or broadcast to IMS end users.

Select one of the following. Then press ENTER.
1. ADD - add a new news-member
2. LOCATE - locate an existing news-member
3. SELECT - select an existing news-member
News-member prefix (4-chars) to ADD a new member, or
news-member name for LOCATE or SELECT . . .
Type one of the following action codes. Then press ENTER.
D=delete an existing news-member
S=display or update an existing news-member Row 0001 of 0002

The following options and fields are available on this panel.
1. Add
Select this option and type the News Member group prefix name, to create a new News Member. The News-Member Edit panel displays next.
2. Locate
Select this option and type the News Member name, to find a News Member in a lengthy list of News Members.
3. Select
Select this option and type the News Member name, to select a News Member for display.
News-member prefix (4-chars) to ADD a new member, ornews-member name for LOCATE or SELECT. . .
Type the news member prefix (the 4-character group name) to add a new news member, or type the new member name for locate or select.
Act
Type D to delete the News Member. Type S to select the News Member for updating.
Name
The names of the News Members in this LOCAL COPY PLUS PDX Data Set.
Last Modified Date / Time / Userid
These three fields present statistics showing which userid updated the News Member last, and when it was updated.
News Title
The first 45 characters of a text string used to describe the News Member.
