MODSTAT and MODSTAT2 DD statement

The MODSTAT DD statement and MODSTAT2 DD statement define an optional MODSTAT data set.

If you include this DD statement, you must also include a DD statement for the current ACB library; the corresponding ddname must be either IMSACBA or IMSACBB as indicated in the MODSTAT data set. If you include both MODSTAT DD and MODSTAT2 DD, the utility selects the most current MODSTAT data set.

Uses

Required with the following functions if the utility is performing pointer checking of a DEDB; otherwise, not used:

  • IC and AIC
  • CIC and ACIC
  • IIC and AIIC
