SPLITSLDS keyword for the ANALYZE control statement
Use this keyword when you are using a customized SLDS and there is potential of a log sequence error.
For example, a log sequence error can occur when you have created your own SLDS by selecting log records and an IMS cold start is performed during the time range of the selected log records.
An IMS cold start resets the IMS log sequence number, therefore log records before the IMS cold start have a higher log record sequence number.
Specify one of the following values:
- FIRST—Stop processing further records. Continue the job with the records that the job has read so far.
- LAST—Discard the records that the control statement has read so far. Continue the job.
- BOTH—Continue the job.
The default is SPLITSLDS=FIRST
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
