SKIPDB2 keyword for the ANALYZE control statement


You can use the SKIPDB2 keyword on the ANALYZE control statement to specify a number (1 through 9999999999) of Db2 log records in an input log data set to skip before Log Analyzer begins to process records.

The default is SKIPDB2=0, which skips no records.

Example

You are analyzing the log records in a single log data set named IMSP.LOG00003 and Db2 log records in a single log data set named DB2P.DB2LOG03.

To skip processing of the first 9,000 Db2 log records in the log data set, specify the following keywords on the ANALYZE control statement:

SLDS=(IMSP.LOG00003,R153)

DB2LOG=(DB2P.DB2LOG03)

SKIPDB2=9000
