MINCYL keyword

Use the MINCYL keyword to specify the minimum size (in cylinders) for a data set group or area that will be read using the start I/O access method.

See DBACC keyword for additional information. If the data set group or area is smaller than the value specified with the MINCYL keyword, the utility uses DBACC(2) (EXCP processing) to read OSAM database data sets and DBACC(1) (native access) to read VSAM database data sets.
