D (Delete) Command


The D (Delete) command deletes the entry from the trace directory. If the entry is for a data set that is not cataloged, no confirmation is required.

If the data set is cataloged, a confirmation screen similar to the sample in the following figure is displayed:

Note

To avoid manually cleaning up the trace directory, you can enable automatic deletion of completed trace entries. For more information, see Customization-of-the-application-trace-facility.
