Specify NOSUBS to have BMC AMI Unload refuse to accept substitution characters during translation between CCSIDs.

This option is meaningful only when DIRECT YES is in effect. 

If you specify NOSUBS and BMC AMI Unload encounters a record that requires substitution, BMC AMI Unload discards the record rather than unloading it.

Restriction

BMC AMI Unload ignores the option if you also specify FORMAT UNLOAD or DIRECT NO.
